I have had a pool table for five years now and I love that thing. It is downstairs in my basement where I have a bunch of other games like a ping pong table and an air hockey table. I had always wanted to have a game room in my home and I finally got to the point where I could afford it. Since I have got the billiard table my game has improved dramatically. The problem was that I didn’t have a cover and I also used the table for a few other things. Over time the pool table  felt on the top of the table got messed up. It had suffered a few small scrapes and some spilled drinks but when I was playing a game and I missed a shot because the ball had to jump over a gash in the felt I knew it was time to change it. I had been putting it off for awhile because I thought it would be very expensive. It turned out to be really economical. I will be getting my felt changed every couple of years now. The main problem that I was having was that I did not have an extra table down there to put drinks on, so when I was using it as a poker table or me and the guys were just hanging out, we would set our drinks down on the table. A few spilled drinks and the color changes I could deal with for some time, but after the scratches were messing up the games I knew I had to get it fixed. I even found out that I could get different colors if I would like. There is the regular green but I could get black as well as a deep red. I was also able to pick up a cover for the table so that when I am not using it, I won’t damage it in any way. I was so delighted that the table looked brand new rather than like it had been fixed. When the guys came over after I had gotten it done, they thought that I had bought a brand new table. I told them about how I got the felt replaced and one of them had had the same experience with his table that I had with mine. He thought it would have been a lot more expensive and time consuming than it actually was. Ultimately I have to recommend getting your table fixed up by having new felt put down. It can clean up its look, make it a different color, and most importantly it will make sure that your game stays the best that it can be. You will think that you got a brand new billiard table and be able to impress your friends. It is not as expensive as you may think, and it is not a hassle. I was extremely satisfied when I finally decided to do it, I’m sure that you will find, you have the same reaction.
